心理咨询系, 康复, and Psychometric services offers specialized academic programs that provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to assist individuals and groups in addressing psychological, 社会, 情感问题. A general overview of the curriculum include courses in human development, 变态心理学, 咨询理论与技巧, 康复服务, 心理测量评估. Research生 students also take courses in research methods, 道德, and cultural diversity to gain a better understanding of the broader 社会 and cultural context in which 咨询 services are provided.
LEARN BY DOING

The faculty regularly engages in research and scholarly endeavors. Student research is strongly encouraged with opportunities for students to present scholarly papers at professional conferences and to publish with faculty. Students who complete the masters level School and Clinical Mental Health 咨询 programs meet the criteria required to apply for counselor licensing.
